Juan De Dios Ramos, one of the World's Most Revered Masters in Afro Cuban Dance, will be in New York and Boston from Tuesday, May 8th through Sunday, May 13th, along with some of the top musicians and dancers from his world renowned dance company in Cuba, Raices Profundas.

As part of Project CUBA, this is a monumental effort to celebrate 67 years of an artistic career of this Living Legend, and to give honor to his legacy for preserving the roots of Afro-Cuban Dance.

Monday, April 30^th: Celebrate the 6^th anniversary of After Work Mondays at Taj Lounge, hosted by world renowned salsa DJ Henry Knowles and professional dancer/actress Talia Castro-Pozo with LIVE music by Ray de La Paz, Will Torres & the NYC Project, the Violin Diva and a special dance performance by Frankie Martinez of ABAKUA!

The 8th annual Connecticut Salsa Fest kicks off on May 25th - 27th with hosts Luis Lopez & Luz Otero continuing on the gracious tradition of a fun-filled Salsa Weekend to benefit the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Last year, the festival donated close to $20,000 for the hospital which provides vital research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.  CT Salsa Fest is also the only festival that has never charged a child to perform or take workshops.....read more
